This policy governs returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations, damaged products, and missing pieces for products purchased from this store purchased from britishhongkong.com.

Return requirements

Returned products purchased from this store must be unused, unwashed, clean, and free from residue, odor, stains, scratches, chips, cracks, dents, or wear. The return must include original packaging and every listed component. Products altered, engraved, painted, cut, or modified by the customer are not eligible.

Returns without written authorization are not accepted.

Accepted return reasons

• Shipping damage or a verified manufacturing defect
• Incorrect style, size, color, quantity, or set received
• Missing listed component
• Product materially differs from its listing
• Change of mind when every return requirement is met

Non-returnable conditions

We refuse or reduce refunds for requests submitted after 30 days; used, washed, stained, or contaminated products; items returned without original packaging or listed components; customer-modified products; and items marked Final Sale, Personalized, or Non-Returnable before purchase.

Normal product characteristics

Minor differences in color, texture, finish, or dimensions can occur during manufacturing.

Damage and order errors

Email support@britishhongkong.com within 7 calendar days of delivery. Include the order number, explanation, and photographs of the outer carton, shipping label, inner packaging, complete set, and affected item. Keep damaged items and packaging until review is complete.

After verification, we provide a replacement component, replacement set, exchange, partial refund, full refund, or prepaid return instructions according to the documented issue.

How to return an order

1. Email support@britishhongkong.com within the applicable deadline.
2. Provide the order number, product name, reason, and required photographs.
3. Wait for written authorization and the designated return address. Do not ship to the business mailing address unless that address is provided as the return address in writing.
4. Pack each item with the original dividers and cushioning.
5. Send the parcel with tracking and retain the receipt.

Return shipping costs

• Our responsibility: If the return is caused by shipping damage, our error, an incorrect item, a missing listed component, or a verified defect, we cover eligible return or replacement shipping.
• Customer preference: Change-of-mind returns, wrong-size selection, excess quantity, and style preference are paid by the customer.

Refunds and exchanges

Approved returns are inspected within 1–3 business days of receipt. Approved refunds are issued only to the original payment method. Card issuers and PayPal post most refunds within 5–15 business days. Original shipping, expedited shipping, return shipping paid by the customer, and package-protection fees are not refunded unless the return is caused by our error or a verified defect.

A partial refund is issued when packaging or listed components are missing, or when the returned item shows use or minor damage that reduces resale value. Exchanges depend on stock. Customer-preference exchanges are processed as a return followed by a new purchase when a direct swap is unavailable.

Cancellations

Email support@britishhongkong.com to cancel before warehouse picking, packing, label creation, or carrier transfer starts. After that point, cancellation is closed and this Return Policy applies.

Incorrect address and refused delivery

The customer is responsible for an accurate shipping address. Orders returned because of an incorrect address, incomplete address, failed delivery attempts, refused delivery, or failure to collect from the carrier may be reshipped only after the customer pays the new shipping charge, or refunded minus outbound shipping and return-to-sender fees where permitted by law.
