We are an
organisation that lobbies on behalf of all British Nationals (Overseas)
of all ethnicities for the basic human rights that we deserved, i.e.
right of abode in the UK, Full British Citizenship, and European
citizenship.
Our
organisation, BritishHongKong, have a petition to the PM Gordon Brown
for resuming the right of abode. We are to build up a voice to advise
the government on how to bring British Nationality to the 21st century
European standard. Recently, we have responded to Lord Goldsmith’s
report on citizenship, and the Home Office on immigration reform.
BritishHongKong Forum is a good place where you can ask others for opinions
in renewing your BNO passports, travelling with your British passport,
studying and working in the UK, EU and overseas. Please note that we are
NOT an immigration consultant firm and we do not provide legal advice.
Aims and
goals: Firstly, BritishHongKong is to provide sufficient information for
the BN(O), in terms of its status and difficulties. Secondly,
BritishHongKong is appealing to the UK government for a reconsideration
of the whole British nationality law, whether it has reached the 21st
century European standard. Thirdly, this forum aims to educate BN(O)s
what it means to be proud British - British citizenship education. |
